Ruffynes Barn can be hired for concerts. Both the barn and garden are lovely settings for concerts. Classical, folk, country – the acoustics in the barn make it a great venue for many different types of music!
With over 500sq metres of space Ruffynes Barn is perfect for events such as poetry, photography, literature and art exhibitions. The indoor and outdoor space of the barn can be used for pretty much any event!

Should you wish the barn has plenty of space for a well-seated top table, but both the indoor and outdoor space are intimate enough to provide a lovely warm atmosphere.
Ruffynes Barn looked fantastic in the winter twilight. We had 100 people join us for mulled wine and canapés after our daughters Christening. The twinkling lights, festive decorations and wonderful venue were perfect. I have no hesitation recommending Ruffynes Barn as a venue.
It was a joy turning the barn into a winter wonderland for a fabulous New Year’s Eve bash complete with 20 foot Christmas Tree and fondue for 40 after a champagne reception for 100. Ruffynes Barn is a terrifically versatile venue for all manner of events
We are so glad we chose Ruffynes Barn as our wedding venue. The barn is stunning and exactly what we wanted for our rustic Kentish wedding. James and his family could not have been more helpful in the run up to the event, answering all of our questions and meeting with us on multiple occasions. Their ‘blank canvas’ approach allowed us to have the day exactly as we wanted it and the recommended suppliers were fantastic. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough.
We picked Ruffynes barn for our wedding for its flexibility. We loved that we could decorate as we wanted, provide our own catering, music and alcohol. We spent 2 days decorating the barn in the run up to the wedding. The barn is beautiful, and we were so happy with the finished product. You were so helpful from the very beginning, recommending local suppliers (Sally was brilliant!) and helping to put my mind at ease about any concerns we had.
